This food dehydrator features a complex “Convega-Flow” drying system which insures an even and fast drying process. Unlike many other brands of dehydrators, the Nesco Food Dehydrator forces the heated air up it’s exterior chamber, instead of simply pushing it through the trays, avoiding any risk of mixing flavours between trays.
Its opaque exterior blocks the light to help retain as much nutrients and vitamins as possible from the food being dried. The controls are made of a simple control knob (no complicated buttons or settings).
It features a 1000 watt motor making it a very powerful dehydrator, which allows you to dry food in hours, instead of days for several brands of dehydrators. The eight separated trays will allow you to dry different fruits, vegetables, and jerky all at the same time.
